Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Tower 52 of the 110 kV-powerline Stalldorf-Königshofen is the last tower of this line before it ends in Königshofen substation

Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
What is this for a device on a conductor of the 110 kV-line Höpfingen-Tauberbischofsheim-Königshofen before the end of this line in Königshofen substation?

Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
On the 380 kV-powerline Kupferzell-Stalldorf-Rittershausen is already the originally missing second 380 kV-circuit installed. This picture shows the last tower of this line, which carries the number 138, before it merges with the 380 kV-powerline from Höpfingen in order to run to Grafenrheinfeld.

Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Meanwhile already after the tower where the 380 kV-line Kupferzell-Rittershausen and the 380 kV-line Höpfingen-Rittershausen merge in order to run to Grafenrheinfeld the installation work for a further circuit have started, but in a very unusual manner, as one installed for the new circuit only one half of the required and so far missing lowest crossbar. It is interesting to see that on the tower where the 380 kV-line Kupferzell-Rittershausen and the 380 kV-line Höpfingen-Rittershausen merge the line to Höpfingen branches directly from the 380 kV-circuit Grafenrheinfeld-Kupferzell by using several temporary devices.
By this means all conductors on the left half of the tower are deenergized, which is required for stringing the conductors and installing the lowest crossbar half.

Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Please describe its function more precise. Why can an instrument transformer not be used?
Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Tower 22 of the 110 kV-line Brendlorenzen-Kleinbardorf northeast of Wülfershausen-Eichenhausen. Around the left conductor of the left system on the lowest crossbar of the pylon a communication cable is wrapped. As this design can cause oscillations of the conductor in strong winds, an additional weight for oscillation suppresion is mounted on its insulator.

Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Several powerlines southeast of Würzburg: the line with towers with three crossbars and six conductors is the 110 kV-line Würzburg/Dürrbachau - Marktsteft, the line with towers with one crossbar and three conductors is the 110 kV-line Würzburg/Dürrbachau - Wallmersbach, the line with towers with one crossbar and four conductors is the 110 kV-line Würzburg - Markt Bibart of the German Railway Company and the line with towers with two crossbars and six conductors is the 380 kV-line Grafenrheinfeld-Rittershausen.
The line Grafenrheinfeld-Rittershausen was built in 1981, the other lines are older. The towers of the 110 kV-line Würzburg/Dürrbachau - Marktsteft were built before World War II.

The 110 kV-line Würzburg/Dürrbachau - Marktsteft, the 110 kV-line Würzburg/Dürrbachau - Wallmersbach and the 110 kV-line Würzburg - Markt Bibart of the German Railway Company run until the strainers shown on my last postings next to each other. After these strainers, which can be seen on this picture from an other viewpoint, each line runs on its own route.
