From the observation deck of Berlin Radio Tower you can see the 380 kV-line from Reuter West Power Plant to Reuter Power Plant. Unfortunately the unique concrete tower of this line shown on download/file.php?id=42939 and described on viewtopic.php?p=37447 is covered from the cooling tower of Reuter Power Plant.

However from the abandoned surveillance and radar facility on Devil's Mountain, which is today a museum you can see this extraordinary pylon.

380 kV-powerline Preilack-Neuenhagen in Brandenburg state west of Bölz Lake. The towers look like that built in Western Germany, but they were erected in the communist era. The two towers in the background with three crossbars belong to the crossing of Bölz Lake and are shown in my next postings.

As the forest starts directly at the shore of the lake, it was not easy to take this picture!

Bit of an unusual crossing. In a line which evolves mostly 'donau' pylons, these barrel shaped ones feels a bit out of place...

Doesnt look that big aswell compared with the regular towers.
