At Tower 55 of the 380 kV-line Grafenrheinfeld-Rittershausen, which can be seen in the middle of https://www.hoogspanningsforum.com/down ... p?id=46624, the communication cable from Grafenrheinfeld ends. It is planned to install on this tower a further circuit, which requires the installation of one half of its lowest crossbar (how this will look like can be seen on https://www.hoogspanningsforum.com/down ... p?id=46607 ).
As mentioned in previous postings the 380 kV-line Grafenrheinfeld-Rittershausen splits at Rittershausen in a line to Höpfingen and in an other line to Kupferzell.

Tower 48 of the single-circuit 110 kV-line from Würburg-Dorrbachau to Schweinfurt north of Estenfeld. It is a very unusual transposition tower of a single-circuit powerline.

Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Mainflingen longwave transmitter has in common with powerlines that it uses T-antennas. A T-antenna is a wire, which is as a powerline fixed on insulators and spun between two masts. In the middle between these masts a vertical wire runs down, which is connected with the output of the transmitter.
Masts carrying T-antennas are sometimes insulated against ground as this can improve the effiency of the antenna.
The masts of Mainflingen longwave transmitter have heights of 150 metres and 200 metres and are described on https://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?bu ... 156,107157 . The facility is used for transmitting the time signal DCF77 on 77.5 kHz, which is used by most radio-controlled clocks in central Europe and the telecontrol signal DCF49 on 129.1 kHz of the EFR (Europäische Funk-Rundsteuerung GmbH).
