Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
There was from 1915 to 1946 a power plant in Hennickendorf at Stiebnitz Lake, from which a 110 kV-line, which was partly installed on pylons made of concrete, run to Finkenheerd power plant situated south of Frankfurt/Oder. After the Soviet occupants removed the equipment of the power station, the power plant building was used until mid 1970ies as house for cultural events and than for movie productions by DEFA.
After German reunifacition, it was first used as furniture store before it got unused. Since 2016 the "Artström Festival" takes place in this building.

Towers of the powerline Hoheneck-Herbertingen west of Holzgerlingen with a participant of the "MX Masters" Motocross Championship in the foreground. The church tower in the background belongs to Mauren, a hamlet between Ehningen and Holgerlingen.

Towers of the powerline Hoheneck-Herbertingen west of Holzgerlingen. The strainer with the long pinnacle, which carries the number 156, was built in 2002, while the other towers were erected in the 1920ies.

Sommige oude lijnen die vandaag helaas zijn verdwenen... oude Bahnstrom-masten (verbindung München - Stuttgart) en de lijnen naast het luchthaven van Frankfurt (oude 220 kV station Kelsterbach)
Oh I miss these old days...

If you scroll down that page, they are discussing potential 750/1000kV pylons. Those pylons (Oberbachern - Menzing) look like they could be potential 4x380 kV, but compared to other 4x380 kV pylons they still do look quit big. Did Germany, like France, ever had 750kV plans?ElexTro schreefCOLON ↑27 Sep 2024 22:41https://www.k-tls.co.jp/overhead-tml/germany.html

Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
As I know in the 1980ies it was planned to build a 750 kV-line from Lausitz area to Ukraine. From plans of 750 kV-lines in former West Germany I have no information.
Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Suspension tower of the 110 kV-line Winnenden-Goldshöfe in an industrial area in Winnenden. Originally the tower was grey and on its ground conductor a garland-like communication cable was installed.
After a hospital with a heliport was built a few hundred metres eastward the upper part of the tower was painted red-white and the line was undergrounded near the hospital in order not to endanger helicopters flying to and from the heliport.
Later the garland-like communication cable was replaced by a ground conductor with integrated communication cable. However in the secction between this tower and the next in eastern direction, at which the transition from overhead line to underground cable takes place, the old ground conductor with the aircraft warners was left in place and the communication cable was freely spun on the pinnacles of the towers below the ground conductor.

Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
There were plans for 750 kV lines in East Germany, that's correct. Actually the USSR built a few lines to neighboring socialist countries like Poland, Hungary and Romania. The line to Hungary still exists on it's full lentgh, I saw it in August during my summer holiday. But there were never plans for 750 kV lines for supplying Munich...voltron schreefCOLON ↑30 Sep 2024 14:06If you scroll down that page, they are discussing potential 750/1000kV pylons. The line Oberbachern - Menzing is operated by Stadtwerke München (NOT TenneT!). The additional crossbars look more like a preparation for 110 kV circuits But yes, the whole line seems to be designed for 4 x 380 kV due to its role as a main feeder (out of two) for a very huge city. Very similar to the TenneT line Grafenrheinfeld - Rittershausen (which I actually passed today), which was designed for transportation of huge amounts of energy from the former Grafenrheinfeld nuclear power plant.

The line Oberbachern - Menzing was designed for four 380 kV-circuits.

Ultranet-line under construction west of Heidelberg-Neurott. Look at the large scaffold for the protection of the 110 kV-line of the German Railway Company during the conductor string work.
