Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Later the interconnections between these pylons were removed as this picture taken in 2010 shows.

Later the 220 kV-circuits were dismantled and so one of these huge pylons carries just two 110 kV conductors for the powerline of the German Railway Company.

Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Thank you for all pictures! Most of the lines I know very good, because I'm originally from this area (near Stuttgart). The 220-kV-line on the last picture has been dismantled (around 2017) so this huge pylon today only carries two phases for the traction current line.

Traction current powerline Zazenhausen–Neckarwestheim (pylons with one crossbar in foreground), one of the few traction current powerlines using quadruple bundles of conductors and pylons of three phase AC powerline Kornwestheim–Seewiesen carrying also the circuits of traction current powerline Zazenhausen–Plochingen on its lowest crossbar. This line carries also a communication cable mounted like a garland on its ground conductor.

Tower 65 of Facility 318 (380 kV/110 kV-power line Pulverdingen-Oberjettingen) on the right, Tower 130 of Facility 4508 (380 kV/220 kV-power line Hoheneck-Herbertingen) on the left and Tower 7589 of traction power line Stuttgart/Zazenhausen - Eutingen in the middle. Note the garland-like communication cables on the ground conductor and a lower rope on the pinnacle of Tower 65 of Facility 318. It carries also a third freely spun communication cable on its second crossbar.

A closer view on Tower 65 of Facility 318. Inside this tower from the level of the second highest communication cable a branch of it runs down. It is tightened with a cylindric weight at its lower end and used for feeding the communication cable, which is fixed on the left side of the body of the tower. This cable runs to a pole outside this picture of the medium voltage line crossing this picture and follows it.

Tower 66 of Facility 318 (large tower) und Tower 1 of Facility 622 (small tower). Both stand on a hill between Sindelfingen-Darmsheim and Ehningen. Note the communication cables and the ropes on which they are fixed on Tower 66 of Facility 318.

Re: Duitse hoogspanningsmasten
Tower 66 of Facility 318. The small tower left from the left tree is Tower 1 of Facility 622.
Tower 66 of Facility 318 is since 1977 a branch tower for a 110 kV-line with two circuits to a semiconductor factory situated a few kilometres eastly. Since the shutdown of this factory, one circuit is unused and the other is operated with 20 kV.
