Interesting pictures and nice landscape and lighting.
A quite compact tower top design with V-assemblees for the insulators.
It's configuration is similar to the tubular towers we see in the transition route in Doetinchem - Wesel.
The esthethics of the tower are quite pleasing, although i find the tower body at the top of the tower a bit too bulky.
In any case the new design is much higher than the existing towers.
Striking for me is that only a twin bundle is used instead of a quad bundle.

The twin bundle is from the old line. When the new towers are built the twin bundle from the old towers is transfered to the new towers. When a section is ready the twin bundle is used for pulling the new quadruple bundle on the towers.

...en zo verdwijnt weer een stukje van het oudste 380-kV-lijn in Duitsland.
